THE ZD WINE DINNER AT SEREA
On October 3, 2019 from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm, we’ll be opening the doors at Serea for this special wine dinner. Enjoy a gourmet meal prepared by Chef JoJo Ruiz, and enjoy world class wines right from the heart of Napa Valley. Each dish has been expertly paired with a wine that beautifully complements the flavors.
Please join us for a reception with tray-passed nibbles at 6:00; dinner begins at 6:30 pm. This wine dinner is hosted by Scott Billeci, Regional Sales Manager and deLueze family member.
Tickets for this 21+ event start at $150.

DISHES PREPARED BY CHEF JOJO RUIZ
Culinary mastermind Chef JoJo Ruiz has made quite the name for himself in San Diego, and now he’s bringing his talents and creativity to Serea. Chef Ruiz started his culinary career when he was just 16 years old, and since then he’s worked at some top culinary institutions in San Diego. Chef Ruiz has held positions at the Michelin starred Ironside Fish & Oyster, and in 2017 he partnered with Clique Hospitality to launch Lionfish Modern Coastal Cuisine.
Now, Chef Ruiz is the driving force behind the menu at Serea, with a focus on fresh, sustainable seafood with Mediterranean flair. The result is an elevated fine dining experience that features a large menu of sensational dishes.
A MENU FULL OF DELICIOUS DISHES
If you’re looking for plenty of choices, you’ll find them at Serea. Our menu features a wide variety of appetizers, seafood, and more. Start the night off with an appetizer, like our Crispy Calamari or Tuna Tartare. Enjoy a variety of shellfish, including West and East coast oysters, Mexican blue shrimp, Maine lobster, and seasonal crab dishes served ice cold or wood roasted. Additionally, we offer a variety of sashimi dishes, including Hawaiian Big Eye Tuna, Baja Hiramasa, and San Diego Sea Urchin.
When it comes to an entrée, you’ll have plenty of choices. You can order a freshly caught whole fish off of our Big Fish menu. Or, you can opt for a more traditional entrée, like our Local Caught Swordfish en Papallilote, Lobster & Spot Prawn Bake, of Half Roasted Mary’s Chicken.
